ITV EMMERDALE IMMERSIVE VR EXPERIENCE
AY-PE was briefed by ITV Emmerdale and XR Stories, to explore a new way of engaging audiences with the highly popular British TV series. We concepted and created an experience to explore the potential for extending the established Emmerdale universe to new, transformative, interactive and immersive audience experiences. This would bring current and future fans closer to the Emmerdale storyworld, and reach new audiences through a blend of enticing messaging.
Through months of close collaboration with ITV we created a unique Virtual Reality experience, giving exclusive access to the Emmerdale set and unveiling what it takes to make one of the UK’s busiest TV shows.

360 VR & SOUND
Developing and filming the project with Emmerdale cast and crew, we carefully designed and choreographed an immersive 360 VR experience which places you into the Emmerdale set and in the heart of the story.

Researching and developing 360 filming into VR worlds, spatial audio recording and design as well as new production planning techniques, we have evolved a way of storytelling which gives jaw-dropping access to the inaccessible.
THE MAGIC OF VR
We can't talk too much about the 'wow' surprises within the experience, but they've been designed to ignite the joy of the show and the passion of TV creation to fans and non-fans alike.

360 film, spatial audio and VR combined have the ability to grant a magical VIP access to the real-life worlds which most of us can only imagine. This is 'Behind the Screen'.
