EXHIBITION DESIGNERS: Studio MB

CGI (Seascape): ay-pe

FILMING: Chris Robson

ILLUSTRATION: David Rooney

HARDWARE: DJ Willrich

Produced entirely in-house the CG seascape is projected onto two Hi-Def screens to fully immerse the visitor. The view is looking out from the starboard side of the Titanic heading towards America.

BELOW: A 'Pepper's Ghost' projection of ships steward Frederick Dent Ray interprets life aboard the Titanic as it would have been experienced for Middle & Upper Class passengers. F.Dent Ray was a real steward aboard the Titanic and a survivor.

ABOVE: The thumbnail images above show the visual-effects breakdown of how we produced the CG seascape starting with a 3D model which was textured and lit with a photo-realistic (digital) sky. The clouds move from left to right, the sky changing from a golden hue to a cold blue.
